• The house lies in an elevated position at the end of a private road.

• Constructed in the early years of the 20th century, Burnside House has been recently refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for 7 people, with all the amenities expected of the 21st century.

• Dippin is on the main road south of Whiting Bay, not far from the beaches at Kildonan and Torrylin.

• The house is an ideal base for exploring the island and provides easy access to the shops and restaurants of Whiting Bay, and Whiting Bay Golf Course.

• Children are very welcome 

  • a cot can be provided on request, but please supply your baby's personal bedding;

  • an additional small bed for a child up to 5 can also be provided by arrangement.

• Well-behaved dogs can be accommodated (maximum of 2) at an additional charge of £10 per week per dog;

• All linen is provided, but please bring personal towels for swimming.

A car is useful if you come to Burnside House, but we are on the bus route so it is very easy to get around the island
